Had to make a quick run to Walgreens during my recent trip to Las Vegas and, of course, you can’t shop at a place like that and buy just one item. I ended up buying 5! I thought it would be fun to share them with you in the attached video. Lately, I’ve been interested in experimenting with my hair and decided to buy and try out the Shea Moisture shampoo. I have not shampooed my hair in 5 years, only clay washes, so I’m looking to share that update with y’all too! I will be posting photos and info for what steps I took for my trial run with shampoo, wish me luck.
I am currently posting this from Las Vegas. Unfortunately, I didn’t get an opportunity to post more photos from my Cape Cod trip before leaving again, but I did do some vlogging and captured some beauties for you!
Hope you enjoyed the video.
We’ve made it out!
I’ve been wanting to visit Cape Cod for such a longtime and I’m so glad my husband was down with such a last minute trip.
Being here is just what I imagined it would be and more. I wanted to be among nature, beauty, large bodies of water and quiet. And lastly, I wanted to have an opportunity to be inspired by beautiful, historical homes. We were also able to squeeze in a daytime to Martha’s Vinyard.
I can’t wait to share pictures with you guys!
Please check my Instagram, HERE, for most recent happenings.
Cape Cod is on my list of Places I’d Love to Visit. If it is anything like the images I find online then I truly cannot wait to visit soon. I have been toying around with the idea of going next month before the spring/summer rush swings into full effect or waiting until the end of summer when all of the crowds return home. I don’t mind crowds but I think it would easier and more fun to explore with less people around.
I love the thought of hanging at the beach, sailing, or taking slow walks in the warm sun while eating ice cream and wondering around beautiful neighborhoods. Pretty photos to come if I can make this trip happen soon!
As you can see, based on my photo, I am in Italy!
I’m gonna get right to it.
It’s bitter-sweet because although I love Italy, this is my 4th trip, my work camera, 2 lenses and lapstop was stolen in Milan yesterday. Not only were my things taken my husband had very sentimental and expensive things stolen from him too. Not even my baby’s diaper bag was spared.
We reported the theft but was pretty much laughed at by the “police”. I guess having thousands of dollars worth of things stolen from visitors in Milan is not a serious matter and is cause for a chuckle.
What made me feel even worse was after talking to a restaurant employee and a woman at the church (where we were going to see the Last Supper painting), near where we got robbed, we learned that theft/pick pockets/purse snatching in Milan is extremely common. The woman at the restaurant told me that she warns her female patrons to not set their purses down at their table! I wish I had known about the common thefts in Milan because I would have skipped visiting enitirely. I plan to write a review on Trip Advisor warning people so hopefully I can keep someone else from having to experience the pain, shock and sadness of being robbed. And from needing help from the uncaring, insensitive “police” in Milan.
I am trying to not let this ruin the rest of my trip since we still have so much time left, but it is incredibly hard.
-Gotta keep smiling and get creative with my iphone.
I am looking forward to our first international family trip to Italy in June! This will be baby’s first international flight and I’m sure he’s going to do much better than me. You see, I have a dreaded fear of flying. Howerver! I refuse to let it stop me from seeing the world.
What do you guys like to do to relax on long flights?
On my trip to Argentina I must have played 5 million games of solitaire…which reminds me, I need some new games for my phone! I will be sure to share photos.
