On My Radar

1. Fiddle Fig Everything.

Earlier this past summer I scored a super cute, faux,  fiddle fig leaf plant from Home Goods and have been wanting to find a photo or painting to pair with it ever since. While searching for inspiration I came across these gorgeous pillows on Etsy.  The fiddle fig leaf plant was very popular this summer but I’m still loving it.  I was enamored before summer hit and tried finding a plant during winter, but couldn’t find it anywhere. I’m so happy I found it and love how the green adds a splash of color to my home and I’m sure it will be uplifting during fall/winter months to come.

2. Rhassoul Clay

Rhassoul Clay has been on my mind for a very long time and I think it’s time for me to take action and give it a try.  I usually do my clay washes with Aztec clay, but research is telling that rhassoul clay is supposed to be amazing as well, if not better. If you want to see how I make my Hair Wash/No Shampoo wash see my video here.

3. Paper Trimmer

I’m so excited to have finally purchased this paper trimmer! It’s the small things, LOL! I finished decorating my office but left hanging my photos on my To Do list for longer than I care to admit.

4. Lemons

For the last few days I have been using lemon as an all natural deodorant.  FYI, it doesn’t prevent sweating, but it does stop odor by killing the bacteria that causes it. I’m also curious to see if it will lighten my underarms.  I had an allergic reaction to a new deodorant I decided to try this past summer and want to try the natural route for lightening.  I will keep you guys posted on my results.

5. Running Shoes

I have been motivating myself to get back on the-good-foot to eating well and exercising.  I have never been much of a runner, but I know how slimming it is and would like to do some slimming and trimming after my recent pregnancy.  I would like to take these Nikes for a spin, again, if I decide to get them I will keep you all posted.

Soooo, I have been on the hunt for a pair of these hoop earrings, but have not been able to find the exact ones I want.  I think I’m going to have to find someone to make them for me.  I’ve tried so many sites and have only been able to find the gold-plated or gold-filled ones…the hunt continues.

If you know where I might be able to find some (14K gold, 1mm, 2″, hoops) please let me know!

Thank you!

white converse all stars

I’ve been wanting to get my hands on some white Converse All Stars for the last few months.  I had a pair in emerald green and foolishly decided to toss them a few days ago!!!  I didn’t realize I would regret that decision until I got home and took my white ones for a spin, Converse never get old! FAIL.  Oh well.  Since we’re moving back to the east coast in a few weeks I have been cleaning and purging like a crazy woman! EVERYTHING MUST GOOOOOOOOOOO!  I guess I got a little too crazy!

Looking ahead, I plan to wear these white ones with everything from cut-off denim to maxi dresses, I love them!

*Peep the pretty flowers?  My sweet husband and baby just happened to buy me flowers on their trip to Whole Foods, worked out perfectly for my impromptu sneaker snaps, smiles.

Gold makeup brushes

For the last year and a half I have been noticing that I have a growing attraction to all things gold, so when these little pretties caught my eye I could not resist. I found them at Target, they’re limited edition Sonia Kashuk.

They aren’t as soft to the touch as I prefer my brushes to be, but the real test will happen during my makeup application.  I can’t wait to try them! I will keep you guys posted.

Christmas Gift Ideas for Her

Hello my sweets,

Here are some of my loves for this christmas season, I think any of them would make a great gift for Her.  By the way, I have been eyeing those Kate Spade heels for months, drools…looooove.

With that said, I don’t ever submit a Christmas list to my husband, so he doesn’t know about these “loves”.  When it comes to gifts, I prefer to be surprised and I am really low maintenance when it comes to those things, so I don’t mind if I don’t get anything.  I really am fortunate for many reasons, so Christmas is just a fun reason to get with family, eat, drink, and celebrate love.  That is the meaning of Christmas to me and what brings me the most joy.

I hope your Christmas is very merry and your New Year is extremely happy!
